Currently Cârţişoara shelters four churches, two of which were built in the early nineteenth century. Oprea Cârţişoara Church, built on a promotoriu and constructed of brick, was built in 1806. The church of Cârţişoara Oprea, dedicated feast of St. Nicholas,
is composed of the altar, the nave and the narthex. The church is decorated inside with murals. High on a similar plan in Cârţişoara Oprea, Cârţişoara Streza church dedicated feast of the Annunciation, was begun and dedicated in 1818. As the neighborhood church,
the church is decorated with murals Oprea, interesting iconographic aspect. Cârţişoara houses and an Orthodox monastery, nuns, founded recently.
Romanian Soldier Monument. Cross type memorial monument is being erected in 1920 by the family of Capt. George Buruiană active. To achieve the monument were used stone and marble. In front of the monument is inscribed as follows: "In memory of George Buruiană

It said that at Cartisoara village Ethnographic Museum and Memorial is named after the most representative son of the village, Badea Cartan, including all sorts of objects that belonged to him. Also in the Park "ASTRA" Sibiu is a peasant and a famous bust of
himself, made of bronze in 1974, 1.20 m high and placed on a pedestal of travertine, the work of sculptor Sibiu Kurtfritz Handel.
