In the middle of one of the most beautiful mountain regions in the Carpathians, Cabana Bâlea Lac is located next to a glacial lake. Being directly accessible from the legendary Transfăgărășan road, at an altitude of 2034 meters above sea level.
Facilities:
The cottage offers accommodation according to international standards. All rooms are equipped with wooden furniture, showers, toilets and televisions, offering a stunning view both over Lake Bâlea, which has an area of 4.6 ha, and over the surrounding mountain
ranges.
The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, both from Romanian and international cuisine.
Bâlea Lac I *** Chalet offers to the tourists:

Room facilities:
All equipped according to international standards. The furniture made of natural wood in a subtly modernized rustic style, high quality linen, toilets furnished with sink, shower, toilet, are functional, with hot water (permanent), hair dryer and air vacuum.
All rooms have a TV that can become non-functional in case of bad weather (wind or thunderstorms with lightning) and if the internet network is overloaded. The TVs work on the internet, and the source at this height (2034m.) Is not cable but wireless.
