Baile Puturoasa are located 9 km from the town of Vama, in Satu Mare county, in a caldera with a diameter of 4 km, of a former volcano, in the so-called Puturoasa micro-depression, with a mild climate.
Information about the resort:
The name of the resort comes from the sulphurous mineral water, which emits hydrogen sulphide into the atmosphere. Sulfuric water is recommended in the treatment of chronic degenerative rheumatic diseases, post-traumatic diseases of the locomotor system, chronic
peripheral neurological diseases, respiratory and ENT diseases, chronic gynecological diseases and dermatological diseases.
The tourist center has pools with different temperatures:
(34°C-36°C; 36°C-38°C) but you can also opt for individual bathrooms with valves, steam sauna, dry sauna, cafe and an accommodation structure for 24 people.
Treatments with sulphurous water can be done throughout the year, operating every day between 10.00 and 21.00.
In the area of Bailor Puturoasa you can go hiking through the trails in the forest surrounding the resort.
