In 1989, city Uzlina longer appeared on maps in name only. The village has fallen victim to demolition plan abnormally small towns of Ceausescu. Tourism has been restored but the village life.
Three families have resisted Uzlina forced systematic program initiated by Ceausescu. Thus, despite the immense pressure by the authorities and the Murighiol Tulcea, three families refused to leave their homes they owned Uzlina Sand. This refusal has led, over the years, this city, left only with the name on the map to transform itself into a modern tourist resort. The story of the touring Uzlina - because now we can talk about a tourist resort with hotels and pensions with at least three star comfort - was written by a businessman from Bucharest, which has a tourist complex built here by 200 jobs accommodation.
The historical sources show that Uzlina village, located on a hill with the same name, located near a lake namesake, has been for over 200 years, a thriving fishing community. Population consisted only of Lipovans who are engaged in animal husbandry and fishing.
After the War of Independence, the village was deserted Murighiol existence of the Turkish community here and was occupied, in good part from Uzlina Lippovans which households have moved into the terrace area to avoid losses caused by floods. They have preserved and households but Uzlina where practicing easier fishing. Lipovan respective followers have recently returned from Uzlina native and practice in the area and now fishing, but also deals with tourism. In this village and a fish farm operates special sturgeon.
