fiind singura bază de cazare la mare altitudine.

Location
Cabana Dochia is located in the upper area of the Ceahlau massif, on the plateau, between the peaks Lespezi (1,805 m) and Bîtca Gheodon (1,845 m). It has a dominant position, with total visibility to the east, southeast and south, and is the main cottage
of the Ceahlau Mountains, being the only accommodation base at high altitude.
Altitude: 1750 m.
Access roads: On marked tourist paths, from the base of the mountain, from all the cardinal points; from Ceahlău village in 4½ – 5 hours; from Izvorul Alb or Secu localities in 5½-6 hours; from the Izvorul Muntelui chalet in 3–3½ or 4–4½ hours; from
Neagra village in 6-7 hours; from Telec village in 5-5½ hours; from Pintic village in 5½-6 hours; from Durău resort in 3-4 hours.
