Cheile Butii Tourist Complex is a soul establishment located at the South Gate of the entrance to the Retezat National Park, a natural reserve of the biosphere, one of the most beautiful protected areas of Europe. Located at an altitude of about 900m, near
the Butii Keys and the national road 66A (under construction) that will connect the city of Petrosani to Baile Herculane, our location is for the friends of Retezat the first stop on the well-known tourist route: Butii Keys - Buta Cabin - Lake Bucura - Pf.Peleaga.
The complex has a maximum capacity of 110 places in the three buildings arranged triangularly - Cabana Cuibul cu Dor, Cabana Poiana Soarelui and Vila Prietenilor. Cheile Butii restaurant can accommodate 250 guests and has an extremely rich and varied menu that
can satisfy the culinary delights of the most acclaimed guests.
Accommodation:
Poiana Soarelui Chalet is the largest cottage in the complex, with a capacity of 65 places in 27 double, triple and quadruple rooms.
The rooms are spacious and bright, providing guests with increased comfort and peace of mind.
Valea Mariei and Lazărul Waterfall are 4 km from the Cheile Buţii Tourist Complex. The Straja ski resort is 15 km away, and Lake Bucura is 18 km away.

The conference room located on the first floor of this chalet can accommodate up to 40 people and is equipped with a video projector, projection screen and flipchart.
