Resort Balvanyos is located in the heart of Romania, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, in a privileged protected natural area, offering a unique view of the surrounding mountains. The resort includes two 4-star hotels: Grand Hotel Balvanyos**** and Peakture Hotel Balvanyos****, the unique wellness center – Grand Santerra Spa, the Balvanyos Adventure Park and 4 restaurants, each with different specialties.
Balvanyos Resort offers 170 individually designed rooms with high-quality facilities, providing comfort, relaxation and unforgettable experiences, while enjoying the breathtaking views.

The four different restaurants offer guests unique culinary experiences and provide a perfect location for both family and business events. Our GastroLab Restaurant & Terrace offers reinterpreted traditional dishes, the Forest restaurant in the Grand Hotel offers international cuisine, the Fork restaurant promises fine dining specialties and a selection of award-winning wines from around the world. In the Peakture hotel you will find the Bundaberry restaurant with original Neapolitan pizza. The Grund event hall is suitable for organizing events for 140-200 people.
Grand Santerra Spa is an oasis of tranquility that offers complete experiences with 2 different spas – one spa only for adults and one dedicated to families with children.
We welcome you with numerous activities both indoors and outdoors. You can test your limits in the Adventure Park, where we have various climbing routes, tree obstacles and zip lines. Under the professional supervision of our colleagues, our courses can be used safely by all age groups.In addition to our adventure park, we also recommend the climbing wall, archery, our multifunctional sports field, organized hiking tours, off-road tours, electric bike trips and electric car tours.
Types of rooms:

-Standard double room = They have an area between 22 and 26 m² with forest view. It is not possible to add an extra bed. When booking you can choose between a double bed or two separate beds.

-Superior double room = They have an area between 30 and 36 m² with panoramic view and balcony. Upon request (for an extra charge) it is possible to add an extra bed. When booking you can choose between a double bed or two separate beds.
-Junior Suite = Rooms with generous surfaces, 40-45 m², equipped with a double bed. They can be rented as double with the possibility of adding 1-2 extra beds. No balcony.
-Apartment with 2 bedrooms = The largest and most comfortable accommodation space in our hotel, it has 70 m² + balcony, it is ideal for accommodating two families or a family with several children. The apartment structure: one Queen bedroom and one Twin bedroom, a living room between them, and a huge terrace with the most beautiful view in the hotel.
-Apartment with 1 bedroom – Villa Panorama = Located in a separate building 150 m from the hotel building, this type of apartment has an area of 39 m² and can host a maximum of 3 people. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with kitchen and a private bathroom. No balcony.
-Apartment with 4 bedrooms – Villa Panorama = The two apartments located in a separate building from the hotel (150 m) have an area of 140 m², each has 4 bedrooms, of which 3 with double beds and one with bunk beds, it is ideal for families with more children and groups of friends, it can host a maximum of 7 people. Each has a balcony, a spacious living room with fireplace, private kitchen and two bathrooms.
-Family Room – Villa Panorama 2 = The 6 Family Rooms are located in Villa Panorama 2, 200 meters from Grand Hotel Balvanyos, with an area of 25-30 m². The rooms are equipped with double beds and a loft with a sofa bed for 2 people. They can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and are ideal for families or groups of friends. They can be interconnected with panoramic rooms with loft, ideal for a group of 8 people. Each room has a separate bathroom and terrace with forest view.
-Panoramic Family Room – Villa Panorama 2 = The 12 Panoramic Family Rooms are located in Villa Panorama, 200 meters from Grand Hotel Balvanyos, with an area of 25-30 m². Of these, 6 rooms have double beds and a loft with a sofa bed for 2 people, and another 6 rooms have double beds and a sofa bed also for 2 people. Both types of rooms can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and are ideal for families or groups of friends. Each room has a separate bathroom and terrace with panoramic forest view.
-White Cottage = The wooden modular cottage is located 150 m from the hotel, near Villa Panorama. It includes one room with a double bed, has an area of 17 m² with a private terrace of 12 m². It is fully furnished with kitchen, bathroom with shower cabin and heating. The cottage has a panoramic forest view and is ideal for 2 people.
-A-Shape Cottage = The wooden modular cottage is located about 150 m from the main hotel, near Villa Panorama. It includes one room with a double bed, has an area of 17 m² with its own terrace. It is fully furnished, with kitchen, bathroom with shower cabin and underfloor heating. The cottage has a panoramic forest view and is ideal for 2 people.
-Tiny Forest Suite = The wooden modular cottage is located 150 m from the hotel, near Villa Panorama. It includes 2 rooms with double beds, a large living room and a terrace. It has an area of 50 m² with its own terrace. It is fully furnished, with kitchen, bathroom with shower cabin and underfloor heating. The cottage has a panoramic forest view and is ideal for 4 people.
