      Slatina

      Slatina is the capital and largest city of Olt county, Romania. The town is located in southern Romania, on the left bank of the river Olt in the historical region Muntenia Oltenia contact with the contact zone between the Piedmont Plateau and the Romanian Plain. Slatina has a population of 79 171 thousand inhabitants, being an important industrial center. With a history of 650 years and a preserved historical center, the city has an important cultural role in the region.
