Location: Pensiunea Suvenir din Dobrogea is located in the village of Vișina, in the commune of Jurilovca, Tulcea County, on the shores of Lake Golovița, part of the Razim-Sinoe lagoon complex. Vișina is an old Dobrogean village, formerly called Pasacașla, with both Oriental and Bulgarian influences, where the authentic spirit of Dobrogea is truly at home.Situated at the entrance to the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, the village of Vișina and its surroundings periodically become a true paradise for the Delta’s birdlife.
Description: Since the guesthouse is located within a multiethnic community, the rooms have been decorated in five distinct ethnic styles: Romanian, Lipovan, Bulgarian, Oriental, and Aromanian.In each room, guests will find its unique story, highlighted through old or modern objects belonging to the local ethnic heritage, as well as handcrafted items made in the household. Bianca is a skilled artisan who works with canvas, wood, and other natural materials.
Enclosed by a wooden balcony carved in the shape of horse heads, the generous terrace in front of the “House with Rooms” serves as the perfect place to enjoy coffee, meals, or a glass of Dobrogean wine, while listening to stories shared in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
To ensure children have fun, a multifunctional playground was built next to the terrace, designed as a small traditional shelter (“ceardac”), complete with swings, a rope, a slide, and a table for group games.
For a small contribution toward feeding the animals, guests can take wonderful photos with the horses, ponies, sheep, rabbits, poultry, and the other friendly animals in the household—creating memories to cherish.
