About nine years ago, I lived with the whole family in the block and I had three kiosks with "everything" in Sibiu.

In 2006, tired of selling fast food products, we liquidated the business, sold the apartment and moved permanently to Nucet, where we set up the Bio Haus pension.

The place attracted us with its tranquility - the pension is right on the edge of the village, and as you can see with your eyes you are surrounded only by hills with meadows and forest. On summer nights, by the fire, the stars can be admired - nothing but the smell of nature, earth, freshly mowed hay. All this makes Bio-Haus a place that nourishes the soul and brings peace, being a wonderful refuge away from urban stress.

Shortly after we moved, we made our garden on almost 2 ha, because we were tired of chemicals and products bought from the supermarket. We want to produce healthy food for ourselves and our guests. Then we bought dairy cows, built the solarium, started processing vegetables and fruits according to traditional recipes, participated in fairs.

Our farm has been certified ecologically certified from 2005 to 2011. Together with other organic producers in the area, we set up the Biocoop association, which opened a store of organic producers in Sibiu where it still operates today.

We offer accommodation in 8 rooms with double bed or with two beds.

Every room in the hotel offers guests internet access - wireless (complimentary), bathtub. The furniture is simple, traditional, with old carpets, handmade in the region.

Meals at Bio Haus

They are prepared with fresh, natural and ecological products from our farm and from our partners (the households from Nucet, the Biocoop cooperative, and the Mărginimea Sibiului Association).

Guests can attend the daily activities of the farm: picking and preparing products from the garden and orchard, or can take part in hikes, sleigh rides or cart rides.

You can also pick herbs from the rich spontaneous flora and the garden of the pension. The area is also a treasure for bird lovers, being part of the Natura 2000 protected area.

For leisure in the surroundings, it is also possible to rent bicycles (nearby points of interest:

For fishing enthusiasts at a distance of 5-6 km from the pension you can fish on the rivers Olt and Hârtibaci.

The historical and cultural attractions of Sibiu are only 20 km away from Nucet (see the Stair Passage, Brukenthal Palace or Ursuline Church).

The salt lakes from Ocna Sibiului, Transfăgărășan, Bâlea Lac, Păltiniș Resort, Sighișoara are an alternative to an hour's drive.
